Fishing Expedition for Special Populations scheduled for May 14

The Bank of Carbondale will be hosting the Annual Fishing Expedition for Special Populations on Wednesday, May 14th at Bleyer Lake. Over 800 Special Population children and adults from nine Southern Illinois counties are expected to participate.

Volunteers are needed to help participants select their fishing equipment, bait hooks and encourage their efforts. Volunteers should plan to be at Bleyer Lake from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm.
