How does eStatements work?
eStatements work just as conventional paper statements, except they are sent to you via e-mail as opposed to the postal service. eStatements contain exactly the same information, in the same format as the paper statement. The eStatement is sent as an attachment on the email.

Is eStatements secure?
Yes, your eStatement is protected not only by your email account’s password, but also each eStatement features 128-bit encryption and is locked with a password of your choice.

What if I Change My Mind about eStatements?
With the exception of Student Checking Accounts, you can change back to all paper based disclosures and statements at any time. If you have a student checking account, you will be asked to convert your account to another account type as eStatements are required for Student accounts.

Do eStatements Include check images?
Yes, all eStatements include check images, including eStatements for accounts that do not get images on their mailed statement. (Images available for checking accounts only)

Can I print my eStatement at home?
Yes, the eStatement is pre-formatted in letter size for easy printing.

Can I save my eStatement on my computer?
Yes, just like any other attachment, you can save your eStatement wherever you would like.

How do I change my e-mail address that my eStatement is sent to?
Just like an address change, changing your e-mail address may be done via our Online Banking system or by visiting one of our four locations.

When is my eStatement sent?
The eStatement is generated at the same time your paper statement was, and will be sent to you on the day it is generated.

I want to try eStatements, how do I sign up?
Visit one of our four locations, select your password, and you’re done. You will receive an activation email from us. Once you click the activation link in that email, you will begin receiving eStatements.

I have signed-up for eStatements, but I am still receiving a paper statement, why?
In order to verify your email address, after you sign-up for eStatements, an activation email will be sent to you from one of our employees. This email will contain a link to our web site that you must click on in order to activate your account on eStatements. Once your account has been activated, you will begin receiving eStatements.

I’ve received my eStatement, but cannot open it, where can I get technical help?
Our web site has a dedicated technical support section for eStatements at www.tboc.com/estatements, or you can call 618-549-2181 for assistance. You can also email us via our Online Banking system for assistance.
